Harker 400kV Substation is A Critical Cross Border Link Enabling renewable energy transit between england & Scotland. we are proudly part of the team delivering this project and have been working along for the successful delivery. REDAS Engineering team has been involved from concept design of the Harker 400kV low impedance busbar protection system and has developed the full suite of busbar protection including panel build design, Scheme design including system tripping topology and overall interface identification. it has been an amazing journey developing a design that complies to all newly developed technical standards encompassing requirement of carbon free energy resources and non-sF6 gas insulated switchgear.

Next step for Team REDAS is the validation and verification including factory acceptance testing of the over all busbar protection scheme for harker 400kV. the team is already excited and have started the process of putting together the protocols and documentation before mobilization later this year. a dedicated team of experienced testing & commissioning engineers will be working with the NG team and others to complete the validation and factory acceptance testing before dispatch to site. in preparation of mobilization REDAS recently acquired the top notch brand new technology in form of cMC500 to enhance team testing & commissioning capabilities.
