REDAS Delivered the Bramford SGT2 Protection design works under the SPAR Framework as subcontractor. Along with the replacement of the 240MVA super grid transformer the protection IED were passed its 20 years life span. REDAS did the SPAR design works. We took it from the start by visiting Bramford 400kV Site, scanning site as installed drawings. Our team chaired the communication through the design process in internal design reviews as well client design reviews.

REDAS also delivered the power system protection settings calculations and verification for the replacement works. Our TP141 engineers completed all the related workflows and documentation.

Our Testing an Commissioning took on the validation and testing of the new protection and control system. Our highly experienced engineers validated the design and settings calculation by simulation using CMC356 equipment. We successfully delivered the FAT before delivery to site.
